Do you accept emergency walk-in patients?
Yes. While we recommend calling (310) 377-6453 ahead when possible so we can prepare for your arrival, we welcome walk-in patients experiencing dental emergencies. We serve patients from Hawthorne, Inglewood, Torrance, Westchester, El Segundo, and surrounding communities. You do not need to be an existing patient to receive emergency care. We accept all PPO dental insurance plans and Medi-Cal / Denti-Cal for emergency visits.
What areas do you serve for emergency dental care?
Schnierow Dental Care provides emergency dentistry for patients throughout the South Bay and greater Los Angeles area. We're conveniently located on Hawthorne Blvd with easy freeway access, serving Hawthorne, Lawndale, Del Aire, Alondra Park, Inglewood, Torrance, Westchester, Playa Del Rey, El Segundo, Gardena, and nearby communities. Many patients from the LAX area and 405/105 corridor choose our office for urgent dental care because of our central location, same-day availability, and Saturday hours.
What should I do if I knock out a tooth?
Handle the tooth gently by the crown, rinse without scrubbing, and try to place it back in the socket. If that’s not possible, keep it moist in milk and call our office immediately.
Can a cracked tooth wait until my next appointment?
No. Even small cracks can worsen quickly, leading to infection or tooth loss. Cracked tooth repair should be done as soon as possible.
What if I can’t afford emergency dental care?
We offer multiple financing options and accept Medi-Cal / Denti-Cal, so urgent treatment is never out of reach.
Are children treated for dental emergencies?
